Passion, commitment to quality and service, integrity, and a deep love for Sri Lanka form the foundation upon which Island Adventures has been built. Our team has been creating and delivering technically and logistically complicated Sri Lanka tour programmes, for discerning travellers, for over two decades. During this time we’ve honed our skills and ability to enable the seamless execution of a diverse range of special-interest travel experiences with clockwork precision. Our inspiration comes from the hope that our investment of resources into creating unique tour programmes will result in more travellers discovering the magic that is ‘Sri Lanka.’ We, at Island Adventures, strive to ensure that each Sri Lanka tour programme we design and develop will ensure a meaningful contribution to the community or environment that we travel through. We work closely with a wide network of local communities from remote villages when designing unique travel experiences. We are committed to enabling travellers gain an authentic insight into our local culture, lifestyles and biodiversity, whilst at the same time ensuring that local communities and the environment too derive a sustainable economic benefit in return. Further, as strong advocates of ‘Responsible Tourism’, (i.e. sensitivity to local cultures and communities, and having a minimal impact on the environment,) this concept remains the cornerstone of every Sri Lanka tour itinerary we design.

Island Adventures supports and promotes the causes of a few carefully selected humanitarian projects, each of which is working to empower and develop a specific community or environment. We aspire to bring together these worthy community projects in need, with responsible travelers who subscribe to the wise philosophy that – “To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.”

We have access to a high quality fleet of vehicles, ranging from cars and SUVs to mini-vans or coaches, to suit any group size or travel preference. We also work with a wide range of accommodation providers including exclusive and luxurious hideaways, star class hotels which maintain international standards and typical Sri Lankan hospitality, wildlife lodges, campsites, private bungalows and charming homestays.
