While we want our children to expand their horizons and open their minds to foreign cultures and the magic of travel, we also want to be able to enjoy and appreciate the experience ourselves. The Island Adventures team includes young parents who invest a great deal of time and effort to plan perfect family holidays which include just the right amount of adventure, education and comfort at a pace which works for families.

The utter diversity Sri Lanka has to offer, in addition to the fact that the diversity is easily accessible makes Sri Lanka a great family destination. Despite the fact that a wide range of spices are used, Sri Lankan cuisine can be surprisingly mild and often a hit with children. However, most accommodations will be happy to serve traditional western dishes to satisfy any cravings which may or will occur from time to time.
